Every week, our church runs an organization that has come to be known as the Baltimore Dream Center. Church members gather in this multi-purpose ministry center that works to help meet the community’s most basic needs. The BDC provides people with services like supplying emergency food, operating a food bank, and community dinner (soup kitchen) in an effort to eliminate hunger in our communities. It also helps with items such as clothes, furniture, and baby needs. If you need assistance or would like an opportunity to volunteer, visit www.baltimoredreamcenter.com
Music is one of the most thriving areas of our ministry. We spend time in each of our services with music leading the way into worship, exalting the Lord, and communicating with Jesus. Our music is a mix of contemporary, traditional and gospel. The Sanctuary Choir adds an exciting flavor to our worship service on Sunday mornings. Our Music Minister, Joyce Love, is an anointed worship leader and is accompanied by many talented musicians adding in a mix of piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, and drums.
If you want freedom from life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits we encourage you to check out Celebrate Recovery on Friday nights here at BCoG. This ministry seeks to celebrate God’s healing and redemptive power in our lives through the “8 Recovery Principles” Celebrate Recovery is based on. We invite you to use our ministry to experience change, allow God’s grace to help you solve life’s problems, and allow him to release you from your addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors that have been holding you back from authentic joy in your life. Services are conducted every Friday at 7pm.
Our purpose is to offer your children a place of wonder and discovery as they learn Biblical truths. Our goal for each Sunday service is to create an environment that is both educational and entertaining. We want to capture your child’s imagination, intrigue them, and set them on a course of faith. Our Children's Minister, Melvin Stone, seeks to bring children into age-appropriate worship where they can belong to the family of God, grow in their relationship with Jesus, learn to serve, and then go share Christ in the world! Children’s Church includes music, games, snacks, and lots of fun!
Are you looking for a church experience for your teenager that they’ll actually enjoy? At The Sum, students will experience God’s love for them in a way that is real, relevant, relaxed, and relational. We want your student to find a home in our youth group! If the idea of church is new to your son or daughter, they’ll definitely want to come and try one our youth services. Each Wednesday we gather together for an action-packed service that includes food, music, games, videos, a powerful lesson from our youth pastor, Brandon Perritte. Check out their website here.
Our church actively sets out each month to spread the love and message of Jesus Christ in the nursing home environment. By providing support, encouragement, and regular visits by caring Christians, we hope to touch the lives of those who are unable to attend worship services. Almost anyone of any age can participate in nursing home ministry. Only a concern for the elderly and a desire to provide care giving is required. If you are interested in participating, contact us at the church office for more information.
